WOMEN’S BOWLING CLUB FORMED AT OKOROIRE SPRINGS

FIRST IN NORTH ISLAND A very enthusiastic meeting of women was held at Okoroire Springs last Thursday evening, when it was decided to form a women’s bowling club and to start play at once. An official opening of the club will take place later in the month and it is claimed that it will be the first club for women in the North Island. The following officers were elected: President, Airs. PL J. Brown; hon. secretary, Airs. T. Alulliolland.
