FIRE AT WAIHI
DAMAGE TO HOUSE From Our Own Correspondent WAIHI, Saturday. Fire badly damaged the two back rooms, and their contents, of a fourroomed dwelling in Adams Street at about 3.30 o’clock this morning. The other two rooms were damaged to some extent by smoke and water. The house, which was furnished, is owned by Mrs. E. Meagher, of Waihi, and was vacated only this week by Mr. J. R. Odium. It is insured in the State Office for £9O.
