HEAD-ON COLLISION
motor-cyclists injured ONE IN SERIOUS CONDITION Press Association BLENHEIM, Today. Motor cycles ridden by young men, Herbert Shipley, of Blenheim, and Cyril Booker, of Onamalutu Valley, collided head on in the middle of Fenwick Road, two miles out from Blenheim, at midnight on Saturday. Both were found in pools of blood, unconscious, by a passing motorist. They were admitted to hospital. Mr. Booker is in a critical condition, suffering from a fractured skull, left thigh and leg, and smashed linger. Mr! Shipley, who has a fx-actured skull, broken arm and bad wounds on the head and ankle, is Improving.
