ANNUAL MEETING HELD United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, Thursday. Mr. Alfred Shepherd, presiding at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Limited, said the company handled in the past year 305,681 bales of wool, to the value of £6,634,023, compared with 276,438 bales valued at £6.918,829 in the previous season. The shipments to London increased by 10,404 bales, worth £277,344. A credit balance of commission was £697,482, an increase of £19,028. The Bawra payment had been placed in the reserve. General administration expenses had increased by £29,081. Agencies were being created in South Africa, Canada, the United States and Europe.
