Notice is nereby given that the New Lynn Borough Council has made application for the issue of an crder-in-Councii pursuant to Section Eleven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1925, authorising that Council to iix water charges according to the quantity used. The effect of the issue of such an Order-in-Council will be that the New Lynn Borough Council may charge for the ovdinarv supply (as well as the extraordinary supply) of water by meter according to the quantity used, in lieu of water rales (as at present) made and levied in accordance with trie provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and amendments.
