CLICK CLACK CABARET
The popular Click Clack Cabaret will be the scene of another pleasant dance this evening, when the usual Saturday carnival night will be held. The Click Clack Orchestra is wellknown for its bright playing. A special attraction this evening will be the singing of Linton Eskrigge, rising young tenor. Forthcoming attractions at the Click Clack include a big night on Monday, Labour Day, and a Gala Dance and Mystery Night on Wednesday next.
’William Collier, senr., one of Broadway’s most famous playwrights and stars, will be breaking a vow made two years ago when he steps before the cameras at Fox Movietone City soon to portray the chief role in the all-talking version of “Harmony At Home,” Collier’s determination to give up acting, although at the height of his success, faded a few monts ago, when he saw all his friends leaving New York for Hollywood to write, direct or play in talking pictures.
