Harling; lion, auditor. Mr. L. J. Minogue: delegates to Royal Life-Saving Society, Messrs. A. B. Coleman and AV. Fraser. A vote of thanks was passed to Air. AV. Fraser, who retired from the position of secretary and treasurer. A motion was carried deciding that no team be sent to Greymoutli to compete in the national championships.

MORRINSVILLE’S PROGRESS

From Our Own Correspondent MOKKIXSYILLE, Friday. The annual meeting of the Morrinsville Swimming Club was held on Thursday evening Mr. E. Seville was elected to the chair. Mr. Seville said during the previous season two successful carnivals were held, and progress had been shown by a number of Morrinsville swimmers, particularly among the juniors. The club had been granted the 100 yards championship and had merited the confidence of the South Auckland Centre in running the championship swimming carnival. This had been very successful. Success in the coming season was indicated. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. M. G. Philpott; vicepresidents, Messrs. F. A. Hanan. 11. -V. Donaldson, T. Hodges, T. E. Martin; secretary and treasurer. Mr. A. Xeedham; auditor, Mr. '\V. McPherson; committee. Messrs. X. Barker, O. Dickenson. J. 11. Ford. .T- O. McLean, A. G. Yard ley, R. Branch. K Grigg, B. Chapman, L. E. Pole; delegates to South Auckland Centre. Messrs. M. G. Philpott and A. Isecdliam.
