At billiards Lindrum has scored 20,360 and McConachy (in plav) 18,432. Lindrum, with a break of 1,330, broke down on a difficult “long jennv.” He made other breaks of 269, 372, 104, 655, 230. McConachy made breaks of 170, 126, 143, 362, 172, 377, 304. It was not surprising that there was a record attendance. Lindrum with his 1,330, created a new billiards record for Scotland. The record was previously held by Willie Smith, who, lLcc 6 Same rooms last year, compiled _MeConachy replied to Lindrum with liO. 126 and 143, aftei' which Lindrum again dominated the proceedings "with 269 and 372. The first evening session produced only two outstanding performances, I Lindrum having a break of 655 and ■ McConachy one of 362. Otherwise the ! Play was scrappy. | At the end, Lindrum led by 1,928 i Points, and looks like winning the first ! match of his British tour. Lindrum ; scored 709 for a 47 average; MeI Conachy scored 820 for a 54 average.
