PROPOSED £115.000 LOAN APPLICATION TO BOARD The City Council resolved at it? meeting last evening to make application to the Local Government Loan* Board for authority to raise £115,000 for city drainage, including Avondalf. The security offered will b© a special rat© to cover interest and sinking fund. The currency will bo for a period not exceeding 33 years, with in terest not more than t> per cent., and a sinking fund of not less than 1 percent. per annum.
