Round the Churches
“The Model Life” will be the subject taken by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher at the Beresford Street Church at 11 a.m. tomorrow, and at 7 p.m. lie will preach on “The Marks of a Great Character.” The Rev. L. C. Horwood Mill preach at 11 a.m. at the Methodist Central Mission. In the evening he Mill preach in tho Strand Theatre. The first part of the film, “The Way of All Flesh,” Mill be screened. Both services at St. Mary’s Cathedral Mill be conducted by Canon Fancourt. At 11 a.m. he Mill preach on and at 7 p.m. on “The Great Sin.” Bishop Anderson Mill speak at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church and the preacher in the evening will be the Rev. F. Carew Thomas. A mission service Mill be conducted at 7 p.m. at tho corner of Victoria and Nelson Streets. At 3 p.m. at the Unity Hall Mr. 11. Yolland will speak on “The Jew in History and Prophecy.’’ Tho question of present events in Palestine will be discussed. “Goals” Mill be the subject taken by Mr. S. 11. Goodman at 11 am. at the Auckland Higher Thought Temple, and at 7 p.m. Mrs. E. LLewin Mill speak on “Darkness and Light” The morning service at the Pitt Street Methodist Church will be conducted by the Rev. T. Jt. B. Woolloxall. At 7 p.m. the Rev. W. Walker will be the preacher. The soloists will bo Miss M. Miller and Mr. Jenkins At the Mount Eden Congregational Church Mr. J. Stewart Mill preach at 11 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Mr. Gordon Smith Mill speak on “The Only Remedy.” The Rev. \V. Gilinour will conduct both services at the Edendale Presbyterian Church. At the Somervell Presbyterian Church, the Rev. J. Pattison will preach at 11 a.m. and tho Rev. W. T. Currie at 7 p.m. The Rev. X. P. Larsen will preach at 11 a.m. at St. John’s, Ponsonby Road, and in the evening the speaker will be the Rev. A. Mitchell. “The Uses of Prayer” will be the subject taken by Mrs. Harris-Roberts at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church, Mackelvie Street. Other meetings Mill be held during the week. The First Church of Christ, Scientist, will hold services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Church Hall, Symonds Street. “Man” Mill be the subject under discussion. Mr. George Mill preach at 11 a.m. at the Grange Road Baptist Church, and at 7 p.m. the Rev. A. S. | "Wilson M ill speak on “Seeing Ourselves.” The Rev. J. G. Hughes will speak at the service of the Progressive Church, of Spiritualists, Alma Street, Nowmarket, at 7 p.m. The 7 p.m. service of the Community .Mission in the Zealandia HaJJ, Dominion Road Terminus, will be conducted by the Rev.
