TALE OF MISSING LETTER (From Our Own Correspondent) TAUMARUNBI, Today. A young woman, Cecilia May Wilkes, appeared at the Taumarunui Police Court yesterday, before Messrs, A. S. Laird and J. Maher, J.P.’s, on remand from Auckland, charged with wilfully detaining a registered letter containing £5 and a 5s postal note, the property of the Postmasler-Gen-erai, at Ohura on March 14. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court at Hamilton for trial. Bail was fixed at £23 and one surety of £25.
