The Municipal Band performs at the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. An excellent programme includes the popular Moorish suite, “The Courts of Granada,” with its four well-defined characteristic movements; also the “Poet and Peasant” overture, fantasia, “Songs of Wales”; selcctian, “Reminiscences of Ireland”; tone poem, “Finlandia”; valse lente, “Septembre”; together with hymn tunes and bright marches.
