ROAD FUND GRANTS.
MOTOR-CYCLISTS PROTEST Press Assoctarron INVERCARGILL, Today. At a meeting of the Southland MotorCycle Club last evening, the following resolution was carried unanimously: “That this meeting of members of the Southland Motor-Cycle Club views with great apprehension the proposals of the Prime Minister to with-hold the annual grants of £200,000 and £3,000 to the Highways Fund, and to charge tho Highways Board interest, and enters a most emphatic protest against the proposed depletion of moneys available for road in the Dominion.
