INTER-CLUB MATCHES COLLEGE OLD BOYS PLAY Miserable weather greeted golfers in Auckland on Saturday when, in spite of the heavy links, several interclub and club fixtures were played. An inter-club match was played between teams representing the Auckland and Otahuhu Golf Clubs on the Midlemore links. The home team won by six matches to four, with one all square. In tho Kirlc-Windeyer Cup match yesterday tho New South Wales golf team defeated Victoria by two matches to one. The other three matches ended all square. In the foursomes Apperley and Fawcett (New South Wales) defeated Russell and Bulte (Victoria), 3 up ana 2. Hancock and Ryan (Victoria) and H. D. Morrison and Morrison were all square. In the singles Russell and Fawcett were all square. H. D. Morrison defeated Ryan, 2 up. Hancock and Apjerley wero all square. Bulte defeated Morrison, 4 up and 2. In the final against New Zealand the New South Wales team will be:—Apperley, Fawcett, Harrison, H. Morrison. The foursomes will he played on Monday, and the singles on Tuesday. Mr. W. Windeyer, one of the donors of the trophy, was present at the match yesterday.
