PREEYTERY DISCUSSION A statement by the Rev. \N. L. Marsh that the military objectors had disobeyed the instructions of the church in refusing alternative service was met with a chorus of "Not" Mr. Marsh claimed that the boys had disobeyed instructions. The Rev. D. C. Herron agreed that the boys should have done the servnce but they were feeling the sting of inJustice. Mr. Marsh denied spiritedly that he had sent incorrect reports to the head of the Assembly. "I know what stcp I shall take presently," he said, “but it is contemptible to think that allega/tlons have been made" ”No personal attack is being made." Mr. Herr‘on said. "The fact is that distorted reports have got abroad." “Is it perfectly clear to the Presbytery that I did not misrepresent the students to the convener o. the Assembly?" asked Mr. Marsh. The Presbytery gave its assuranc and the discussion continued. STRIKE LEADERS 7 SYDNEY. Today. The strike leaders who were arrestedi yesterday appeared In Court today; On the police application. the cases. were adjourned to August 6. Reduced ball was nl'owccl.
