M. Rudd. The annual meeting was fixed for Monday. July 29. when tho annual report and balance sheet would be submitted. Miss Begs', general secretary, reported that the cafeteria and hostel wern being well patronised and in a flourishing condition. Mis I. Makei, tho new matron to the hostel, will arrive next Wednesday. Several convalescent and tired women and girls were at Holiday House. The clubs’ activities were in full swing and a most successful senior club’s assembly had been held at which nearly 200 girls and 11 clubs enrolled. During the month several visitors from near and fai* had called and these included Mrs. x- • 7^ verner * President of the Dunedin T \V.( .A., Mrs. McCarroll, president of the \V hangarei Association, the Misses Kirk, of Christchurch, and the Misses Caldwell, of Fiji. Final plans were made for the World Fellowship Fair, which will take place on Wednesday next. The MayoressMrs. A. D. Campbell, will perform the opening ceremony. Mesdames Clark Cole, Dickinson. Wilson. Webster and Miss Dempsey, chairwomen of committees. reported briefly on the activities of their departments.
