WOMEN ASSAULTED
ROBBERY AND PERSONAL VIOLENCE LABOURER BEFORE COURT (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. A labourer, Percival Charles Tates, -5, was charged In the Police Court today “that on June 14 at Hamilton lie did rpb.May Palmer of £1 ISs 5d in money from a purse containing' birth, marriage and pension certificates, and did use personal violence, against her.” Accused was remanded in custody until next Friday. Charged with assaulting Mary Richards at Hamilton on June 14,' a labourer, Barnett Davies, 25, appeared in court today.
Detective White applied for and was granted a remand for a week to enable the police to inquire into the mental condition of accused.
