QUEENSLAND CABINET PROPOSALS ENCOURAGEMENT SCHEME Reed. 12.10 p.m. BRISBANE, Today. The Cabinet, in a statement on its land policy, says the Government intends to pass legislation encouraging land settlement, development, and production, and restore freehold tenure to land where it is desired. Special encouragement will be Riven to experienced land men. A system of land classification will also be provided, with view to closer settlement. The dictatorial powers and restrictions imposed by successive Labour Governments are to be removed.
