ON THE PICTURESQUE UPPER WAITEMATA, the Hobsonville airdrome is rapidly taking shape. A big slipway, up which seaplanes will be hauled, is being built. In the foreground can be seen the foundations of a huge han gar, 316 feet long by 85 feet wide. This contain in ddition to space for planes, artisans' workshops, engine repair shops, and the officers' mess-all under one roof.
