VICTORIA WANTS VISIT
CANADIAN ATHLETES’ TOUR Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Council of the New Zealand Athletic Association has received & request from Victoria for a visit from the Canadian athletes who are coming to New Zealand next summer. It was decided to agree if Victoria paid one third of the preliminary expenses and of the fare to New Zealand and back also the fare from New Zealand to Australia and back. Stan. Lay’s javelin throw of 206 feet 6 inches at Wellington on February 23 was passed as a New Zealand and Australian record.
