COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea arrived at Gisborne at. 4 a.m. today and sails this afternoon for Napier. She calls at Gisborne again, en route to Auckland, and is due here next Monday. The Kaimanawa is now leaving Auckland at 10 o’clock this evening on her return trip to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kaituna, due at Auckland at midnight tonight from Greymouth, berths at the King’s Wharf. It is hoped to dispatch her again on Saturday evening on her return trip "to Greymouth. The Waipiata sailed from Bluff at 7 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Dunedin at 9 o’clock this morning. She leaves Dunedin at 8 p.m. today, via Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. The Waikouaiti left Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. yesterday for loading at Timaru, Lyttelton and Picton. for Auckland. After discharge here, the vessel proceeds to Newcastle. The Katoa, en route fi'om Westport, via Napier, leaves Gisborne this afternoon for Auckland, and is due here tomorrow evening. The Kanna is now to leave Greymouth at 3 o’clock tomorrow morning for Auckland, where she is due on Monday next. The Gunbar comes off the slip tomorrow and berths at the Queen’s Wharf. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel from Auckland tomorrow evening on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays.

The Kaponga left Portland last evening with cement for discharge at Wellington and Lyttelton. The Surrey left Auckland last evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth, to complete her discharge of New York cargo. The Flowergate is expected to leave Auckland on Tuesday next for Westport, where she bunkers befoi'e returning to the Islands. The Pukeko lias been sheltering at an East Coast bay near Cape Runaway, and is now not expected to arrive at Portland until this afternoon. She should therefore arrive at Auckland tomorrow morning, and is scheduled to sail for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa at 5 o clock m the aftei'noon. The Awahou is expected to arrive back from the East Coast on Sundav, and is to go on to the slip on Monday to undergo her annual overhaul and survey. The Mako, which is to relieve the Awahou while she is surveying, is due in port tomorrow night, and is to be dispatched for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisboi'ne at 5 p.m. on Tuesday next. The Coronation is to sail for Awanui at noon on Satux'day. The Scot is scheduled to leave on her next trip for YVaipu at 3 p.m. on Monday next. The Rangitoto was due from Thames at 2 p.m. today and is to be dispatched for Coromandel at 7 o'clock tomorrow The Apanui arrives from Great Barrier Island at 6 p.m. this evening. At 8 o’clock on Monday evening she is to sail for Mercury Bay and Tairua. The Ronaki is to arrive from Tauranga at 7 a.m. tomorrow. She leaves for that port again at noon on Saturday. The Clansman is returning from Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Her next departure on that trip is scheduled for 4 o’clock on Monday afternoon. The Omana sails for Kawau. Mullet Point and Matakana at 3 p.m. today. The Kawau is expected to arrive from j Kawau, Takatu. Ti Point. Little and Big Omaha at 6.30 p.m. this evening.
