LABOURER INJURED
BEAM FALLS ON SHOULDER While working on a new building in Anzac Avenue about 10.30 this morning, Joseph Walker, a labourer employed by Cecil A. Lee, was struck on the shoulder by a falling beam and had his collarbone broken. Mr. Walker, whose age is 51, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition this afternoon is reported to be satisfactory. He lives in Morrin Street, EUerslie.
