EIGHT NOW SELECTED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The Christchurch City Council position at noon showed that of the eight candidates elected, five are Citizens’ Association candidates and three are Labour. Messrs. Andrews, Beanland, Beaven, Flesher and Lyons are the Citizens’ representatives, and Mr. Sullivan, Mrs. McCombs and Mr. Cooke are the Labour members. Mr. Cooke was elected on the seventh count.
