ACCIDENTS IN CITY
THREE PEOPLE HURT While working on the Northern Wharf on Saturday Mr. P. Henrickson, aged 59, of 33 Victoria Avenue, Mount Eden, had his left ankle fractured by a heavy wheel which fell from a sling while it was being unloaded from a vessel. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St.John Ambulance, but after receiving treatment he was allowed to be taken home. Concussion of the brain was received by Mr. Ray Belsham, of 4 Scotland Street, Ponsonby, while playing football cn Saturday afternoon for the Ponsonby third grade League team. Mr. Belsham, who is aged 22, was taken to hospital and to-day his condition is reported to be satisfactory. A collision in Quay Street on Satur day afternoon between a motor-car and a motor-cycle was the cause of Mr. Arthur McClymont. the rider o£ the motor-cycle, having his foot crushed. He was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance and after attention was allowed to go to his home at 14 Springfield Street, Western Springs.
