MOUNT ROSKILL PETITION The commission to inquire and report on the petition that has been made by Mount Roskill residents asking that the control of the district be vested in a borough council instead of a road board as at present vWas to have continued its sittings at the Magistrate’s Court this morning, but owing to the illness of the wife of Mr. E. C. Cutteu, S.M., was adjourned sine die. The hearing of the petition, originally set down for April 15, was commenced on April 24 and continued on April 26. It was to have .continued again on. May 1, but owing to counsel being engaged in Supreme Court work, had to be adjourned till this morning.
