AUSTRALIAN IN EGYPT DEAD WITH REVOLVER (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) CAIRO, Friday. The English colony is shocked at the news that the Australian, Dr. Frank Cole Madden, was found dead in his home with a revolver in his hand. The sensation of Dr. Madden’s death is Increased by the fact that it follows the similar tragedy of Dr. Thomson, president of the Quarantine Board at Alexandria. Dr. Madden was born at Melbourne '4 1893, and took high honours in medicine and surgery. He was Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Egypt, and also emeritus professor of surgery.
