A WOMAN’S SUICIDE
SPENT LAST TWOPENCE ON FATAL GAS PARENTS IN DOMINION Reed. 10.30 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Despondent owing to unemployment and a fancied mistake in love, Marjorie Talk, aged 30, a single woman, used her last twopence to operate the gas meter in a Darlinghurst flat on Friday morning and asphyxiated herself. She was discovered yesterday. According to statements she made before her death, her parents are living in New Zealand.
