TOWN BOARD MEETING (From Our Own Correspondent) HUNTLY, To-day. Subject to a provision that no speed racing takes place, the Bicycle C’ub wa« granted permission to hold its annual sports outing on the recreation ground, on Saturday next. The report of Mr. Fred Harris concerning the extension of Bailey Street wa» received, and the .board will now make final arrangements after a personal inspection. The chairman, Mr. E. George, is to arrange a conference with local minister# of religion concerning a suitable form or Anzac Day service. Building permits were granted to Messrs. Sale, Butler, and the Roman Catholic Church authorities. Bowser pump holders are in danger of losing their licences if indemnity insurance. policies are not taken out forthwith. All workman engaged on the tar-seal-ing of the Huntly Town Board's area will be paid off this week, the work now being completed.
