WORKING OVERTIME?
CONDITIONS AT OTAHUHU WORKSHOPS INQUIRY BEING MADE The question of overtime being worked by fitters and boilermakers at Otahuhu workshops, and of qualified men being out of employment, are to be inquired into officially. This assurance was received to-day bv Mr. M. J. Savage. M.F., by' the Hon. W B. Taverner, Minister of Railway*. Mr. Savage had informed Mr Taverner that representations had been made to Him by engineers and boilermakers to the effect that overtime was HSrI W af Otahihu” Thlt question was being investigated.
