GOVERNMENT PAYS DAMAGES Press Association NAPIER, To-day. In a Supreme Court case. Jean Cowan v. The King, arising out of an accident between a Government railway bus and a lorry in which petitioner waa travelling, the full claim of £286 14s 6d was granted. The claim was a sequel to a -collision °n Waitangi Bridge last year when the pupils of the Technical College were returning from their annual picnic, petitioner’s arm being seriouslv injured.
