Hunua Falls is ar. excellent one-day run from Auckland that everyone should see sooner or.later. Follow the route through to Manurewa and Papakura, and follow the signposts through to the Hunua Gorge. There are two falls to see on this trip, although most people go only as far as the first. The trip to the Black Lily falls could also be done in the same day. After going through the gorge and running down hill and rising again, take turn to the left where Hunua Road goes sharp to right. At bottom of clay road leave car and walk along narrow track to the falls. From Auckland, about 60 miles.
