MARKET VERY FIRM (United P.A.—r~By Telegraph — Copyright) SYDNEY, Monday. The Sydney wool sales were resumed to-day, this being’ the third series. All sections of the trade cor#jeted strongly, notably France, Germany, Russia and Japan. The market was very firm and unchanged, although finer descriptions of Merino showed a hardening tendency. Greasy Merino sold to 28§d, equalling the highest price this season. The bale* sold totalled 12,814.
