LOWE ON ANDREWS ■ n a London paper, F. Lowe, the English inpays tribute to E r . D. Andrews, former New Zealand champion, who is now studying in England. “In his next match Nigel Sharpe fell after a great struggle to young Andrews, the New Zealander, who astonished the world by beating Hunter at Wimbledon,'' writes Lowe. “Andrews, revelling in the hot weather, has been doing great things at the English tournaments since then. I fancy it is the powerful service of the New Zealander which knocks his opponents off their games, and then opens up the road for his own good strokes.
