TRAIL OF DEBTS OVER NORTH ISLAND YOUNG MAN SENTENCED Press Association. GISBORNE, To-day. At the Police Court this morning William Henry Joseph Danvors, aged 22. pleaded guilty to the theft of articles of clothing at Masterton and was placed on probation for a year. The accused in a statement to the police said that he was glad he had been caught, because he was beginning to realise that ho had made i> fool of himself. He had incurred debt from one end of the North Island to the other, staying at the best hotels and disappearing without paying his tills..
