DR. GERARD TROWER DEAD

The death has occurred of Dr. Gerard Trower, formerly Bishop of NorthWest Australia, aged 68. Dr. Gerard Trower was Bishop of NorthWest Australia from 1910 to 1927. He was born in 1860 and was at Keble College, Oxford, and Ely Thelogical College. He was ordained In 1888 and was a curate in Birmingham and Bristol. He was Rector of Christ Church, Sydney, from 1895 to 1901, and Bishop of Nyasaland before going back to Australia. He had been Rector of Chale, Isle of Wight, since *:927.
