CATT—BENSON

A very pretty wedding took place on Saturday at St. Matthew’s Church, between Miss Muriel Grace Benson, daughter of Air. and Airs. Benson, Dorking Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and Air. Alan Franklin Catt, son of Airs, and the late Air. B. E. Catt, Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells. The Rev. Carew Thomas officiated. The bride wore a charming frock of soft white satin and georgette, trimmed with sprays of orange blossoms, and the beautifully embroidered veil which formed the train was also trimmed with small sprays of orange blos- . som. A headdress of orange flowerbuds and narrow silver ribbon was worn. The bride’s shower bouquet was of white carnations, freisias, sweet peas,

anemones and roses, and tied with silver ribbons. Aliss Olive Luxdon, also of Tunbridge Wells, was the bridesmaid, and wore a chic french frock of beige georgette over shell-pink with hem of hand-painted pink roses. Her hat was of shell-pink and beige and she carried a large shower bouquet of pink anemones. Mr. S. E. Langstone gave away the bride, and Air. D. Burnside, of Papatoetoe, was best man. A reception was afterwards held by Air. and Airs. S. E. Langstone at St. John Ambulance Station, over 40 guests being present. Mrs. S. E. Langstone .formerly of Tunbridge Wells, wore a french frock of jade green embossed georgette, with pleated panels of georgette over shellpink, and trimmed with gold lace. She wore a large black crinoline hat, underlined with pink, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The bride and bridegroom left bv car for the West Coast, where the honeymoon is being spent, the bride travelling in a peach and blue silk crepe frock, with beige hat and tailored coat of beige kasha.
