NEW RADIO CLUB FORMED
NORTH SHORE LISTENERS MEET At a public meeting in Daly’s Hall, Takapuna, last evening, held for the purpose of forming a North Shore Radio Club, Mr. A. J. Lewis explained the objects of the club. These are to foster the interests of the listener and to obtain better reception from their receivers. tt was unanimously decided to form a club and the following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. E. J. Wiseman; secretary, Mr. A. J. Lewis, P.O. Box .1711, Auckland; committee, Messrs H. E. Parsons, L. Ay re. F. Dawson, J. Adams, F. J. Callaghan and K. Lewis. Mr. I-I. tb Parsons gave an interesting address on “The Romance and Reality of Radio.” dealing with early discovery up to the modern set.
