ENGLISH FRUIT MARKET

The New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board has received the following cablegram from its London representative, Mr. H. E. Stephens:—The consignments of apples discharged from the Somerset at Avonmouth and Glasgow and from the Tongariro at Glasgow realised improved prices. Stunners realised 31s to 13s a case; Newton Pippins, 12s to 12s fid; Granny Smith, 14s to 17s; Statesman, Romes, Dougherty, Tasma, Pioneer, Rokewood and Delicious, 14s to 16s.
