SCHEME WELL FORWARD Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. A meeting of the provisional directors of the Wheat Growers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., which is the official title of the voluntary wheat-pooling organisation, was held yesterday and to-daj-. The chairman, Mr. Mulholland, said the final stages of the formation of the company were on the eve of completion, and in the course of the week the committee hoped to begin operations by instituting an active canvass for contracts among the Canterbury wheatgrowers. He said also that the applications for shares had been very • satisfactory.
