DEVONPORT PLANS JUBILEE CEREMONY
OPENING OF NEW WHARF Devonport Borough Council and other public bodies plan to mark the completion of the new wharf at Devonport with a public function which will combine a previously arranged celebration to mark the diamond jubilee year of the grant of self-governing powers to Devonport. It was suggested at the meeting of the Devonport Borough Council last evening that the function might be held in the closed in portion of the new wharf for passengers.
