A mixed foursomes match was won by Mrs. Stanley and N. Hockin, 3 up. Glendowie Ladies Following is the draw for the L.G.U. match to be played by members of the Glendowie Ladies’ Golf Club to-morrow: Miss Maden v. Mrs. Hutchison, Mrs. Miller v. Otahuhu Ladies The final of the championship of the Otahuhu Ladies’ Golf Club was won by Mrs. Hipkins, who beat Miss Cutforth, 1 up, at the 19th hole. In the handicap match play competition for the cup donated by Mr. Kohn. the results were:—First round: Miss Cutforth (22) beat Mrs. McNiely (23), 5 and 3; Miss Darrach (24) defeated Mrs. Chapman (36), 7 and 6, after one round had finished all square; Mrs. Hipkins (26) defeated Mrs. George (34), 4 and 3; Mrs Menzles (36) defeated Miss H. Wyllie (3(5). 7 and 6. Semi-finals: Miss Darrach defeated Miss Cutforth, 2 and 1; Mrs. Hipkins defeated Mrs. Menzies, 2 up. Final: Miss Darrach defeated Mrs. Hipkins, 4 and 3.. The Pukekohe Golf Club’s senior championship for tills season was decided during the week-end., The winner was W. Brosnahaai, who defeated T. J. Lally in the final, 2 up and 1 to play. Brosnahan has now won the championship seven seasons in succession. Waimarino Club „ The> following are the results of the filth stroke competition: ° 7 ' 2 4—73; Jefcoate, 90, 14- —76; Murray, 95, 14—81. Ladies’ A. —Miss Legge, 111, 28—.83; Mrs. Baird, 117. 30—87; Mrs. Cracroft Wilson, 110, 22—88. The above are also L.G.U. scores. Ladies’ B (nine holes).—Miss Lightband. 64, 20—44. During the week-end Baird beat Ritchie. 3 and 2, for the second place in the final. The final over 36 holes will be pla,yed between Jefcoate and Baird. In Anderson Cup matches, Adams beat Mackley, 9 and 8, and Long beat Adams, 5 and 3. In the B ladies championship, Miss Penn beat Mrs. Long, 6 and 5. The final is to be played between Miss Penn and Mrs. McMaster.
