BIRTHDAY PARTY

A very cheery birthday party was given on Saturday evening at Dixieland by Mrs. Whiteford Steward, who entertained a number of guests at a charmingly-arranged corner lounge. Mrs. Steward wore an attractive frock of Madonna blue crepe de chine and silver lace with effective pearl embroidery. Among her guests were: Miss D. Flewlyn, in a pretty frock of wistaria mauve georgette. Miss H. Harnett, wearing a frock of black georgette. Miss M. O’Brien, frock of rose blush taffeta with silver trimming. Miss Iv. O’Brien, larkspur blue taffeta frock trimmed with cerise. Miss Maureen Fenwick, frock of rose du Barri georgette banded with white fur. Miss A. Finnerty, frock of pale green charmeuse with panels of gold lace. Miss S. Norton, sequined fi'ock of black georgette Also present were: Dr. H. Swift, Messrs. Neil McDonald, Eddie Horton, T. Churchhouse, McLean, Earl Robieson, L. Adams, Thompson.
