POINT-TO-POINT RACES

PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB The gala day of the Pakuranga Hunt Club was held on Saturday at Beachlea Downs, Papatoetoe, and was one of the most successful gatherings held by me club. The hill, overlooking the natural steeplechase course of three miles, acted as a grandstand for those eager to follow the events of the day. The roads leading to the course were lined with hundreds of cars, all bearing their loads of sportsmen and : friends to the rendezvous.
