LOYAL ORANGE LODGE
ANNUAL SOCIAL The fifty-first annual social of the Loyal Orange Lodge, No. 14, Otahuhu, was held in the Public Hall on Saturday evening. Close on 200 members of the lodge, and brethren and sisters of other lodges were present, and an enjoyable evening, terminating at midnight, was spent. The District Grand Lodge was represented by the Wor. D.D.G.M DD C D.F.C. and D.J.D. ..The evening opened with the toast of The King,’ followed by a very prettily executed grand march, after which was lnclul Sed in till the midnight hour. .During the evening several eniovti , rr l! lslcal lt; ems were rendered by the following: Wor. Bro. A. Gear s ° aErs ; Jessie MacLachlan, .fancy and step danees: Bro. Hobson, songs; and Bro. Lunstan, recitations. A dainty supper was served under the direction ® r °’ Cdfey. and was much appreciated by the gathering. The singing of ”Auld Kang Syne” terminated the very happy 51st anniversary of Lodge No. 14.
