EVERYBODY’S
“CAMILLE” Stories come and stories go. but “Camille*’ goes on lor ever. This paraphrase of an old saying is applicable this week to the showing of Norma Talmadge’s newest starring vehicle. an up-to-date version of “Camille,” at Everybody’s Theatre, where the modernised Dumas classic is proving to be one of the high mark attractions of the season. Certainly. Miss Talmadge could find nothing in the works of present-day writers that would provide a character more appealing, more charming, than her 1927 “Camille.” Gilbert Roland, recently signed to a long-term contract by Joseph M. Schenck, who produced the picture for First National, plays “Armand” to Miss Talmadge’s “Camille.” Other players in the supporting cast are Lilyan Tashman as the courtesan “Olympe.” Rose Dione as “Prudence,” Harvey Clark as; “The Baron,” Alec Francis as “The Duke” and Helen Jerome Eddy as: “Camille’s” maid.
“Camille” will remain at Everybody’s Theatre for two more days. It was directed by Fred Niblo.
