TJELSON FAME, who has freshened up since his Southern tour, is again a regular attendant to the Mangere track, where he is working in his customary free and fashionable style. If specially prepared for the sprint events at the forthcoming October fixture, where the tighter classes will be all in this speed-merchant’s favour, Nelson Fame will prove quite capable of upholding his reputation. But if his sprinting powers continue to be impaired by two-mile journeys, then Auckland cannot hope to even win the big sprint heats.
