COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waixnea, which left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne and Napier, returns here next Sunday. The Waipori, which is due at Auckland to-morrow from Greymouth, via Aapier, will, after discharge here, proceed to Portland to load cement for New Plymouth and Greymouth. The Kaimanawa was expected to leave Westport early This morning for Auckland, where she is due on Saturday. The Canopus, which is at present loading at Westport for Auckland, should arrive here about Sunday next.

The Gunbar is expected to arrive at Auckland on Monday from East Coast ports, and sails the following day on her return trip to the bays, Gisborne and Napier. The Somerset is expected to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Biuff to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo. The Ocean Transport, in continuation of her voyage from Texas, leaves here tonight for New Plymouth and Newcastle. The Pakeha is to leave Auckland tomorrow for W ellington and Napier, to land the remainder of her London cargo. The Tainui, which arrived off the Otago Heads yesterday, became fogbound and was unable to go up to Dunedin. It was hoped that she would be able to berth at Dunedin to-day. The Harpalyce arrived at. Wanganui yesterday from New Plymouth to land the remainder of her Nauru phosphate, after which she will proceed to Westport for bunkers. Her future movements have not yet been announced. The West Islip, in continuation of her voyag:;e from Pacific Coast ports, leaves Auckland to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. The Westmoreland sails from Wellington to-morrow for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to unload the rest of her Liverpool cargo.

The Canadian Prospector left Auckland early this morning for New York, Boston and Montreal. The Richardson steamer, Awahou was to sail at 11 o’clock this morning for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. The Mako arrives at Portland on Friday from the coast and is now due here on Sunday She loads for East Coast Bays, Napier and Wairoa on Monday. The Apanui, leaving at midnight tonight for the Great Barrier returns again 7 p.m. to-morrow. The Pono sails at 3 p.m. to-day for • Mangapai, One Tree Point and Waipu. The Matangi, leaving at 7 p.m. to-day for Tauranga returns again at 7 a.m. on Friday. The Hauiti, sailing for Kopu and Turua at 7 o clock this evening returns to Auckland again at 5 p.m. to-morrow. The Rangitoto, which was to leave for Thames at 10 o’clock this morning, arrives back again to 6.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Omana, which was to leave for Waiheke at 10 o’clock this morning, returns again at 7 o’clock this evening. The Taniwha, arriving from Paeroa at 10.30 p.m. to-day sails again at 7 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Kawau, due at 10 o’clock this evening from Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, and Little and Big Omaha, sails again at 10 a.m. on Friday for Waiwera, Mahurangi and Warkworth. The Claymore, expected from Whangarie at 3.30 a.m. to-morrow, sails again at 5 p.m. the same day on the return. The Hikurangi arrived from Onerahi early this morning. The Ronaki arrived this morning from Portland. The Maggie went on slip yesterday for overhaul.
