FINE REDUCED

MAN’S GOOD CHARACTER In the Waihi Magistrate’s Court yesterday a rehearing was granted of the case in which Clarence McCormick was fined £25 for drunkenness while in charge of a motor-car last April and an order made for the cancellation of his licence for two years. The magistralte reduced the fine to £ls and the suspension of the licence to a period of six months dating from April.
