SENTENCE OF DEATH WHITE GUARDS’ LEADER By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright MOSCOW, Tuesday. The Soviet has issued a communique which states that the death sentence has been imposed upon Piskunoff, who commanded the White Guards’ “death waggon” in Siberia in 1919. Piskunoff is alleged to have ordered mass executions and the torture of prisoners.—A. and N.Z.-Sun.
