PAGEANT BALL

SOUTH SEAS PHANTASY DRURY LANE SPECTACLE Two hundred of Auckland’s prettiest girls will take part in the Pageant Ball which will be held in the Auckland Town Hall on Thursday night next. r PHE function is being arranged in conjunction with the Auckland Festival, which Air. Albert Goldie is organising. An important feature of the ball will be the South Seas Phantasy, in which 20 Samoan dancers will take part. A number of “stunts” have also been arranged by the Festival Revellers. Jazzing will be to the Regent Band, specially augmented on this occasion by courtesy of J. C. Williamson, Ltd. Art School students will supply the decorations. A magnificent Drury Lane spectacle will be presented by Aladame Edith Baird. The costumes will be a feature of the production.
